This project involved an indoor basketball court at a sports center, where our high-efficiency UVC LED integrated lighting and disinfection system was deployed. To address the venue's large space, high occupancy, and need for effective air circulation, we implemented a combined solution of high-power UVC LED panel lights and customized UVC LED strips.
UVC LED panels installed on the ceiling provide uniform court lighting while continuously disinfecting the upper air. In spectator areas and locker rooms, flexible UVC LED strips integrated into the ventilation system enable simultaneous surface and air disinfection in key zones.
The system significantly reduces the risk of bacterial and viral transmission without disrupting daily training or games. Testing confirmed a 99.2% inactivation rate for airborne pathogens and 98.7% surface disinfection efficiency, with overall energy consumption reduced by approximately 35% compared to traditional “lighting + separate disinfection” setups. The client reported high satisfaction, and the system has been operating reliably for over 12 months.
